Since 1982, the Capital Area Writing Project (CAWP) has been an organization of, by, and for teachers of all grade levels dedicated to improving the instruction of writing and the use of reading and writing in the content areas. One of over 200 sites of the National Writing Project, CAWP is located within the School of Behavioral Sciences and Education at Penn State Harrisburg.
